I used to wear earphones when I rode.  The sound is good, but it takes you out of your surroundings and makes you a little less aware.. and that can be dangerous.  Since I started riding with the flip 4 it’s gotten much better.  It last forever, is not too heavy and the sound is amazing!  Plus, oftentimes as I ride thru small villages in southeast asia I can spread the music around and get some awesome smiles from villagers enjoying my tunes.
