The Ministry of Health and Welfare required anyone who had been in contact with patients who had tested Positive for COVID-19 to self-isolate for 14 days, and required all travelers from China in the past 13 days who were symptomatic to undergo diagnostic exams. All travellers from China were directed to a separate arrival hall at Incheon International Airport and were required to submit their domestic addresses and contact numbers. Restrictions were placed on Visa issuance. All foreigners from Hubei province were denied entry.
