Ryan will arrive tonight. His seemingly “China-made” Trike arrived yesterday. Lots to discuss before he gets here.

    Hi Matt, I own a Trident Transport 26. I would talk to them-they would understand the situation. I think you are right that a few ‘extras’ get made for local trade. The only problem I’ve had with mine is the qr skewer sheared off on the seat back adjust. It appeared to be a low quality item. This was replaced with a qr axle skewer and some shims. All other h/w seems ok. The stock tires were not great for puncture resistance but great handling. So I replaced them with Marathon+ but with a lot more wheel scrub and they also rub the fenders. So a trade off.

      I talked to Tom already.. he explained. apparently they sell some of the tridents in China… so nothing shady going on at all… good to know. thanks for the advice about the skewer…
